I'm from that strange place they call "The South". But people have known me for years before finding that out so I guess the drawl isn't too bad. I even have all of my teeth.
I work for EDS doing Internet development. Since EDS has gone over to the dark side, this means I spend all of my time working with Microsoft products like NT and SQL Server and Internet Information Server. I'm even certified (MCSE, that is) although Kevin would say I'm certifiable. When I'm not busy with the usual stuff (i.e. working on something that a customer is paying for), I play with other technology. My latest set of toys include a Sun Sparc 10 and an HP Apollo. When I'm not playing with those I'm usually doing something like working with Java or tearing one of our NT servers apart.
But enough of that. Now to the important stuff. When I'm not at work, my wife keeps me in line and my daughter keeps me busy. We have a money pit, errr, I mean a house, and a dog. What more could a person want? And, if there's time left over, I get to do my dissertation research.
I plan to reclaim my title as best picker. I just hope that means I'm best at picking football games, not some part of my anatomy.
