Yummy & Easy Guacamole This is an old family recipe for yummy & easy guacamole (a.k.a. Avocado Dip). The recipe makes one bowl of guacamole for a "normal" party. It can be used as a dip for corn chips (best), on burgers (pretty good too), or anything else. |
Number | Item |
---|---|
1 | Large Mixing Bowl |
1 | Ordinary Table Fork |
1 | Ordinary Table Spoon |
1 | Ordinary Table Knife |
1 | Garlic Press |
Amount | Ingredient |
---|---|
5 (or whatever) | Avocados (I use Hass Avocados, the softer, the better!) |
1/2 | Lemon |
3 | Cloves of Garlic |
1/2 Jar | Salsa (the fresher, the better) |
The other thing that I think makes good guacamole is NOT using a food processor. This recipe also makes this easy to do, and produces guacamole with a great consistency.
I like to do things assembly line style, and so apply each step in the directions to all the avocados at the same time, rather than doing them one by one.
Please refer the figures to illustrate the steps.
